The official results for Manitoba’s 42nd general election are now available on the Elections Manitoba website at www.electionsmanitoba.ca.
The results of the election changed the standing of parties in the Legislative Assembly as follows:

As per 165(2) of The Elections Act (EA), any candidate or voter in the electoral division may apply for a recount by Sept. 23, 2019. If no application is made, the writs are returned to the chief electoral officer from each returning office on Sept. 24, 2019, indicating which candidate has been elected in his or her electoral division.
Of the 870,080 registered voters, 478,466 cast ballots in the 42nd provincial general election. Turnout across the province was 54.99%, which compares to 57.57% in the last provincial election.
During the eight days of advance voting, August 29 to September 5, 112,915 Manitobans cast their ballots at advance voting locations across the province.
Elections Manitoba acknowledges the more than 8,000 returning officers, field staff and headquarters staff who worked in the election. We thank them for playing a role in the democratic process in our province.
